Preparation for our presentation

Today,  we are devided into three groups which can discuss our own project with other students and can recevie advice from our teacher.  Each of us stand before blackborad and act our presentation there. It is a pre-presentation. After that everyone of us can recevie useful suggestion from both professor and classmates. Professor Helge’s advice really very useful to our project. I know that we can use less words to express what we want to say clearly and exactly. Using this method we can avoid lots of  obstacles of language. And if we use presentation on google document, it can help us adviod forgetting keywords. I think today’s discussion is greatful to us.

How Can I Design My Own Learning Events?

Through today’s work, I touched the new format for having a disscussion. For example, three students are in the same group, and then one acts as a teacher, one acts as a student, and the other acts as an observer. The teacher can ask the student if he or she feels intrested in the topic which will be shown in the next class. The student will tell his or her feeling about the topic, and then tell the teacher what he or she wants to know more and which format they can accept better. The task of the observer is to keep silence when the teacher and the student are talking, and give a conclusion for this communication. I like this action very much because through this format we can receive more information from the learners and can improve teachers’ design for learning.  The class will become more activity and more attractional through interaction. I think perhaps we can have more try in our regular class.

To us about our topic,  we can collact more splendid suggestions from other side and different views. Other people’s advice can help us much and can inspire our thinking. It will be contribution for our design.

Learning event

What is the learning event?  Though today’s discussion, I think that it is a whole activity including teacher’s action and students’ participation. Perhaps in teaching, the students are only audiences.  They didn’t join the class at all. All the teachers should do is to encarage students to be active in learning. But perhaps it is really difficult to resolve this problem. So the next week we will design some learning events, and then I am sure that we will learn some availabe methods to resolve this problem.

 I am looking foward to the next week.

Teaching, Learning and Information

Today we have a class about  teaching,learning and information. After this class, I thought that waht the students said in the class. One student said she was a teacher,and what she wanted to do was that made the students learn by themselves. Just like what she said “don’t give the student fish, just tell them the skills how to get fish”. I agreee with her very much, and as a student I want to learn the skills too. Another student said that she didn’t want the fish only. She wanted to search the method how to get fish. While she said she could teach others too.Yes, she can, and I think it is greatful of her to do that. When talking about information, the other student said different informatin should or could be supplied to diiferent students. That will be good if we choose information.

So, today’s class I think is helpful for all of us.

A interesting movie

Today we made a movie about technology. At first, I am afraid about making the movie because I am not sure if we can manufacture this movie perfectly. I was worried about it all the night before.

But when we arrived at our classroom, our teacher helped us patiently.  So I feel more laxactive. At the help of our teacher we finished our projcet using a longer time than others but we all felt pleasant.

In the afternoon, we edit our film with our team. Though team work perhaps hard, but our team can cooperate well.  Perhaps there are some different views of some things, while we can solve them finally. Then we did it. And through this task I get the ture meaning of team-work.

Our project–twins in oslo

Evelina and I have finished our project which is about twins in oslo. Perhaps our project is the best, but all of us really like it. We use the tools we learned yesterday and we learn more today. I think work together is much better than work alone, and the effect is great. Welcome to visit our project.

A new way to teach

Today I have an profound impression about the teacher taught us how to make stories. Before that I have not touched sucn a teaching method which can make us all enjoy ourselves. I think hereafter we can also use this method into our own class. That will be fascinating.
