What is the learning event? Though today’s discussion, I think that it is a whole activity including teacher’s action and students’ participation. Perhaps in teaching, the students are only audiences. They didn’t join the class at all. All the teachers should do is to encarage students to be active in learning. But perhaps it is really difficult to resolve this problem. So the next week we will design some learning events, and then I am sure that we will learn some availabe methods to resolve this problem.
I am looking foward to the next week.

Yes… and it is important to remember that the learning event should be interesting for you and for you audience (Latina group in this case).
